Bookings are now open for the visit to the Farnesina Collection and Palazzo della Farnesina, which is scheduled for 28 April next. The day is part of the Italian Touring Club’s “Aperti per voi” (“Open for You”) initiative, which the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has been a part of since 2016.
In addition to visiting the main halls of the building, where the works of the greatest Italian artists of the 20th century are displayed, and the thematic sections of the Farnesina Collection – including the photography and reportage gallery and the illustration and street art gallery – it will be possible to walk through the spaces of the Crisis Unit and discover the main activities carried out for the protection of Italian citizens abroad. The “Sala delle Bandiere”, where the largest collection of international flags of the Italian Public Administration is kept, will also be open.
For further information on the tours, as well as access and booking procedures, visit the Farnesina Collection website.
