Bookings are now open for the visits to the Farnesina Collection and Palazzo della Farnesina on 26 May. The day is part of the Touring Club Italiano‘s initiative “Aperti per voi” (Open for You), which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has joined since 2016.
In addition to visiting the main rooms of the Palazzo della Farnesina, where the works of the greatest artists of the Italian 20th century and the thematic sections of the Farnesina Collection – including the gallery of photography and reportage, and that of illustration and street art – are exhibited, it will be possible to walk through the premises of the Crisis Unit and discover the main activities carried out for the protection of Italian citizens abroad and visit the “Sala delle Bandiere“, where the largest collection of international flags of the Italian Public Administration is kept.
