The new website of the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC) is online, where all the information on the event that Italy will host in Rome on 10 and 11 July 2025 will gradually be made available. The Conference continues the annual series of high-level political events dedicated to the recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine started in 2022, after the beginning of the Russian war of aggression against the country.
Governments, international organizations, financial institutions, businesses, local administrators and civil society will meet and discuss in Rome, united by a shared commitment to strengthen Ukraine’s resilience for as long as necessary. Participants will represent various components of society, and will demonstrate their strong commitment to the future of Ukraine.
The Conference will reflect the Lugano principles, including a whole-of-society approach to recovery thanks to the participation of a wide range of stakeholders.
URC 2025 will be hinged around four thematic dimensions: the Entrepreneurial Dimension, the Human Dimension, the Local Dimension and the EU Dimension. These Dimensions have already defined the works of URC 2024 and remain the most relevant topics for Ukraine’s resilience and reconstruction: their maintenance will give continuity to the work done and the discussions held in Berlin in June 2024.
In keeping with the spirit of the Ukraine Reform Conferences that have taken place until 2022, URC 2025 will also show the progress of Ukraine’s reforms in the context of its economic resilience and the EU accession process.
Important cross-cutting issues will be integrated into the above-mentioned Dimensions, such as macroeconomic stability, resilience and security, infrastructure, housing, energy, climate protection, green recovery, culture, healthcare, gender, education, environment, science-technology-innovation and disability. Furthermore, a Recovery Forum – and a related Business Fair – will be an integral part of URC 2025.
