At 10:00 on Thursday 28 May 2015, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Lapo Pistelli will present the “Transparent Accounts” at the Farnesina within the context of the “Farnesina Doors Open” event (22-29 May 2015) and in coincidence with the 5th annual Transparency Day.
“Transparent Accounts” is a new section of the MFAIC website intended to make accounts more accessible, not least to new entrees, using navigable graphics and dedicating special attention to where financial resources go and the services and activities on which they are spent.
The presentation will include a question and answer session with the public and press.
Online accreditation system. Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event should:

– attach all required documentation (if not already submitted) to the form, in digital format
Required documentation:
– a letter from your media organisation
– for foreign journalists in Italy: a note verbale issued by the Embassy in Rome of your media organisation’s country.
If you are unable to complete the online accreditation procedure, please send your application by fax, on your media organisation’s letterhead, to the Foreign Ministry’s Press and Institutional Communication Service (tel. 06/3691.3432-8573-8210).
Accredited members of the press will be admitted at the main entrance to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – left side – at 9.30.
