​Press Accreditation Notice – Mozambique: an Italian peace. 25 years after the General Peace Agreement, signed in Rome on 4 October 1992 (Farnesina, 4 October 2017)

On Wednesday, 4 October, 2017 at 17:00 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will host an event entitled “Mozambique: an Italian peace. 25 years after the General Peace Agreement, signed in Rome on 4 October 1992.”
In this respect, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, said: “The General Peace Agreement for Mozambique is the tangible result of the power of reconciliation. Achieving peace is a process that demands courage, determination and patience. It keeps dialogue going at all times, being aware that establishing a new common language between opposing parties is of a fundamental importance. I wish to highlight the role Italy has played along this path, thanks to our traditional approach that encourages dialogue and that promotes cooperation between civil society and the other international political institutions.”The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, will open the meeting, followed by contributions of a representative of the government of Mozambique and Prof. Andrea Riccardi, founder of the Comunità di Sant’Egidio.Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the above  mentioned Press Calls are requested to apply for accreditation in one of the  following two ways:  –    by filling the interactive form at the link  http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp, attaching thereto, unless  already provided, the information requested in digital format (letter from the  media organisation and, for representatives of foreign media, also a Note  Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation’s Country).    –   by sending an email to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International  Cooperation’s Institutional Press and Communication Service at the following  address: accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (Tel. + 39 06/3691.3432 or 8573 or  8210), attaching thereto the letter of his/her media organisation (or press  card) and, for members of the foreign press, a Note Verbale released by the Rome  Embassy of the media organisation’s Country.   Accredited journalists,  photographers and TV crews can access the Farnesina from the main entrance left-hand side, from 4:30 p.m.
