On Sunday 20 October, Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio, together with Emirate Foreign Minister Abdallah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will be in Matera to participate in the ‘1 year to go’ event for the presentation of the Italian Pavilion at the Universal Exposition of Dubai scheduled to begin on October 20 next year.
The presentation, which will begin at 10:00 am at the Cava del Sole in Matera, will be attended, among others, by the Minister of Education, University and Research, Lorenzo Fioramonti, the General Government Commissioner for Expo 2020, Paolo Glisenti and the General Director of the Matera – Basilicata 2019 Foundation, Paolo Verri.
The Foreign Ministers will also have a bilateral meeting to further the partnership and the opportunities for commercial exchanges between Italy and the United Arab Emirates. At the end of the meeting there will be a press point with Minister Di Maio at the Hotel Palazzo Viceconte.
