On Wednesday, 30 September 2020, the US Secretary of State, Michael Pompeo, will arrive in Rome.
In view of the current legislation on social distancing, a limited number of photographers and TV operators can enter the Ciampino Airport.
The first accreditations received will be accepted in order of time.
Accreditation requests must be completed by and no later than 4.00 p.m. on Tuesday 29 September, as follows:
• VIA E-MAIL to the address accreditamentostampa@esteri.it, (tel. 06/3691.3432 – 06/3691.8573), attaching the required digital documentation (letter by the media organisation to which the reporter belongs and, in the case of representatives of foreign-based media organisations, also a Nota Verbale issued by the Embassy in Rome of the relevant country).
The request shall include the model and license plate number of the vehicle used to reach the airport.
Photographers and TV operators accredited for filming the arrival are kindly asked to be at the Ciampino Military Airport, 31st Wing, at 8.00am wearing a mask and other personal protective equipment recommended by current regulations.
