PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTE
HUMANITARIAN FLIGHT TO SUDAN – CARGO OPERATIONS
(Cargo City, Fiumicino airport, 24 December 2025)
On Wednesday, 24 December, at 12:00 p.m., at Fiumicino Airport (Cargo City), the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, will attend the loading operations of a humanitarian flight to Sudan organised by the Italian Cooperation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with logistical support from the United Nations Humanitarian Response Depot (UNHRD) in Brindisi.
The humanitarian flight will carry approximately 25 tonnes of aid, primarily intended for children from refugee communities in Port Sudan and their families.
Journalists, photographers and cameramen wishing to cover the event are invited to request accreditation by sending the following details to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it no later than 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 23 December 2025: full name, place and date of birth, telephone number, copy of ID and professional identity card.
Accredited media will receive an email containing further information and logistical instructions for access to the airport.
