Italy Pavilion at Riga Food showcases Italian food and wine products

Riga Food, the most important food industry fair in the Baltic Countries, recently hosted the third edition of the Italy Pavilion, organised by the Italian Embassy with the support of leading Italian companies like Ferrero, Lavazza and Barilla. The Fair, with 720 exhibitors from 35 Countries, attracts 40,000 visitors a year. The Italy Pavilion, one of the Fair’s largest, also hosted Sistema Espresso Italia, Mamma Pasta, Vingo Sia, Nava, and Tincture Sincere, all of which are Italian food producers and importers of fruit and vegetables and wine.

The Fair’s many visitors had the opportunity to appreciate a wide range of food products of excellence, showing such a great interest that several exhibitors were spurred to boost their presence in the Country. Numerous Italian companies participated in Riga Food with individual stands: Unifarmed (gluten-free pastry), Il Chiaramontano di Castro & C. (cold cuts), Privitera Soc Coop Agricola (wine), Trinca (MoleCola drink), Martellato (praline molds), Tapi (bottle caps), Tenute Ciaccio (organic olive oil), Caffé Carnevale, Cantina Produttori Cormons (wine), Pollini Group Italia (alcoholic drinks).

Italy’s next promotional events in Riga will be at the upcoming Balttour Travel Trade Fair in February and at the Riga Fashion Week.
