The “Leonardo Opera Omnia” exhibition will be on show at the Ethnographic Museum in Addis Abeba until 12 April. Organised by the Italian Cultural Institute in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and Rai Com, it displays 17 perfect extremely high-definition reproductions of the entire pictorial corpus of the Renaissance genius.
The exhibition – organised within the scope of the celebrations for the year dedicated to Leonardo and within the programme “Italy, Cultures, Africa” – is very successful with visitors, who are dazzled by the beauty of the works.
The exhibition was opened at the presence of the Director of the Ethnographic Museum, Ahmed Zakarias, of the Interim Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Addis Ababa, Francesca Amendola, and Luca Gismondi who set it up. The exhibition will also be an opportunity to carry out various activities with students from different schools, and in particular from the Italian School in Addis Ababa. The event will conclude with a final art talk by Ethiopian professor and artist Eshetu Tiruneh addressed to the students of the city’s main art schools.
