The Italian Embassy sponsored the Spring edition of the 30th “RIGA FASHION WEEK” (www.rfw.lv) organised by the “Baltic Fashion Federation” (www.bff.lv), and held from 26 to 30 March 2019. The Italian brand “Morfosis” was among the designers that participated with their collections.
The Baltic Fashion Federation grasped the opportunity to confer an award on Italian Ambassador Sebastiano Fulci for the work done since 2016 towards the success of the RIGA FASHION WEEK. In particular, Ambassador Fulci was thanked for having put together Italian sponsors, for sending well-known Italian designers to attend the event and for contacting Italian fashion universities which have also, on occasion, offered summer scholarships to young Latvian designers.
