A Mural portrays the friendship between Italy and Senegal

The curtain wall of the Italian Embassy in Dakar serves as a canvas where the friendship between Italy and Senegal is visually represented. Italian graffiti artist Marcello Roveda, aka Mars – who already took part in last year’s Dakar art biennial exhibition and in Senegal’s Festigraff  graffiti festival – is working with Docta, one of Senegal’s most famous graffiti artists, to paint a portion of the embassy wall. The two artists will also hold two workshops together, dedicated to street children, to paint murals in two of the city’s cultural centres.
