An intergovernmental agreement was signed this morning in Amman between Italy and Jordan under which Italian Cooperation will contribute 85 million euros to the education and training of children and young people in Jordan. The agreement was signed by Giorgio Marrapodi, Director General for Development Cooperation of the Farnesina, and the Jordanian Minister for Planning and International Cooperation, Mohammad al Ississ. The agreement is part of the 2016-2025 Jordanian national human resources development strategy designed to achieve the sustainable development goals as defined by the 2030 AGENDA, and bring about inclusive economic growth.
