On the occasion of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Federico Fellini’s birth, the Italian Cultural Institute of Stockholm presents an event entirely dedicated to one of the great masters of the cinema history. The evening – for which the typical atmosphere of Fellini’s films will be recreated – will be introduced by short anecdotes about the life of Anita Ekberg and her relationship with the director from Rimini. Finally, La Dolce Vita, one of Federico Fellini’s masterpieces, will be screened.
However, it will not be a normal screening: for this event the Institute has adopted the One for All format, which requires the presence of only one person in the theatre to respect the restrictions imposed by the current pandemic. Though, to allow more people to follow the event from home, the first part of the programme will be broadcast live on the Institute’s social media. In addition, the first fifty people who register for the event will have the opportunity to watch the film for free from home.
How to participate:
To participate in the One for all event, please register by email at iicstockholm@gmail.com, indicating your personal details. On Monday 18th May, during a live broadcast on the Instagram account of the Institute, the name of the winner or the winner will be drawn lots.
For those interested only in attending the screening of La dolce vita from home, please register for the event on the Institute’s Facebook page or send an e-mail to iicstockholm@gmail.com, specifying your personal details and indicating how to participate with the words PROJECTION ONLY. The first fifty lucky ones will be sent the link to see La dolce vita from home for free.
The person who will take part in the One for all event will have to give their consent to appear in some shots taken during the screening and that will be later used for the communication of the event on the social channels of the Institute.
