On the occasion of the celebration of the 500th anniversary of Raphael’s death, the Italian Cultural Institute in Berlin, in collaboration with Staatliche Museen zu Berlin and Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden, presents an online conference by Cecilia Frosinini, art historian and restorer at the prestigious Opificio delle Pietre Dure in Florence. She will talk about restorations and research on the great Renaissance master.
Cecilia Frosinini has worked since 1990 as an Art Historian at the Opificio delle Pietre Dure (Workshop of semi-precious stones,) and the Restoration Laboratories in Florence. She holds the position of Vice Director of the Restoration Sector of Paintings on Panel and Canvas, as well as Director of the Restoration Sector of Wall Paintings and Paper and Membrane Materials.
