The Italian Cultural Institute in London supports the first edition of the ‘Art History Festival’, celebrating the different languages related to art and visual culture.
The Festival, organised by the Association for Art History and to be repeated annually, will last one week. It starts online with a series of engaging, interactive and freely accessible digital events from Monday 20 to Thursday 23 September. Such events will be followed by two in-person events (24 and 25 September) at the National Gallery.
Throughout the Festival week, presentations and lively conversations exploring various topics, perspectives, historical periods and geographies are planned.
It will address from different perspectives how works of art, design and architecture provide insight into ourselves, others and cultures past and present.
