The commitment of the Italian Embassy in Lusaka, with the support of ICE-Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalisation of Italian companies, continues to strengthen ties between Italy and Zambia in the agri-food and fruit and vegetable sectors.
A partnership that once again saw the attendance (for the fourth time) of a Zambian stand at the 2021 edition of MACFRUT, held from 7 to 9 September at the Rimini Trade Fair Centre. About ten Zambian delegates attended the Italian event.
Last November, a webinar called “Challenges and opportunities for the fruit and vegetable sector in Zambia” was held with the participation of the President of MACFRUT, Renzo Pieraccini, and the Italian Ambassador in Lusaka, Antonino Maggiore.
