Italy’s Ambassador to Tanzania, Marco Lombardi, spoke at the presentation of a project of the MZumbe University, in Dar es Salaam, for the creation of a “Business Incubator”, in collaboration with the Catholic University of Milan and E4IMPACT Foundation, chaired by Letizia Moratti and whose membership includes MAPEI, WeBuild, Intesa San Paolo.
During the event, Ambassador Lombardi announced that the Italian Embassy, in collaboration with the Dante Alighieri Cultural Institute, will offer Italian language courses to students during the upcoming “Italian Language Week in the World”. Mr Lombardi then presented the University with copies of the book “Geronimo Stilton: a journey to discover Italy. A thousand wonders”. For his part, the Rector of MZumbe University, Professor Lughano Kusiluka, stressed the importance of encouraging the creation of new entrepreneurs in Tanzania and hoped that, thanks to Italy’s contribution, new business opportunities could be created between Italy and Tanzania.
