In the framework of the Embassy of Italy in Dar es Salaam cultural program, Uhruru Republic Tanzania tournee has started last October 4, 2021. The Italian electronic music group, thanks to the collaboration with Dhow Countries Music Academy of Zanzibar, has created an original music that registered in a LP in 2020.
This year Uhruru Republic is performing in composition masterclass e concerts in Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam. On October 14, 2021 Uhruru Republic will have the last concert that will be in the Old Fort Amphitheatre in Stone Town. The project is co-funded by the European Union. Ambassador of Italy, Marco Lombardi, during the Uhruru Republic Dar es Salaam concert, stressed the importance of cultural cooperation between Italy and Tanzania that, especially in the field of music, can create further.
