The exhibition catalogue for Venezia Panoramica. La scoperta dell’orizzonte infinito is to be presented in Moscow today, January 18, at 7 p.m. The event will be attended by the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute, Daniela Rizzi.
The presentation will also be attended by the exhibition’s curators and catalogue authors Giandomenico Romanelli, Pascalin Vatin and Julia Ratomskaja and by the Director of the Ščusev State Museum of Architecture, Elizaveta Lichačeva.
The catalogue, an integral part of last year’s Moscow exhibition, features, among other things, detailed information on the exhibition’s centrepiece, Il Panorama di Venezia by Giovanni Biasin, and on its second version – painted by Biasin and his son Vittorio.
The scope of the publication spans between the second half of the 15th century and the early 20th century. Featuring a wealth of illustrations, etchings, paintings and promotional material, the catalogue presents Venice in all its beauty.
Published by Venice-based publisher Lineadacqua Edizioni, the catalogue was printed by the Grafiche Veneziane printing works.
