On 17 January, the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris will hold a debate among writers on the influence of other languages and cultures, including those of Italy’s former colonies which have enriched Italian literature in recent decades.
A constantly evolving reality characterized by the presence of writers from different generations, who have different views on Italy: on its history, its society, and its ability to open up and transform itself. The topic will be addressed by: Ubah Cristina Ali Farah (author of Little Mother: A novel; Il comandante del fiume; Le stazioni della luna), Livia Apa (CeSAC, University of Naples L’Orientale), Anna Frabetti (University of Strasbourg), Djarah Kan (author of Ladri di denti).
