During an official visit to Azerbaijan, Undersecretary of State for Ecological Transition, Vannia Gava, accompanied by the Italian Ambassador in Baku, Claudio Taffuri, had bilateral talks with the Minister of Economy, Mikaiyl Jabbarov and the Minister of Energy, Parviz Shahbazov.
“The issues on which we exchanged opinions – said Undersecretary Gava – were stable gas supplies in order to increase Italy’s energy security and greater economic exchanges.” She added: “If Italy and Azerbaijan have excellent relations it is also thanks to the precious work of the Italian Embassy in Baku, and of an extraordinary class of diplomats who, here like everywhere else, represent our Country’s outpost in the world.”
