The Italian Cultural Institute in Paris organized a meeting between French and Italian publishers that will take place at the “Italissimo” Festival from the 6th to the 10th of April to tackle their common problems and make an overview of the transformations in the publishing industry and of the translations in both languages.
It will be an opportunity to exchange opinions ahead of 2023, when Italy will be the guest of honor at the Festival du Livre de Paris. The event, co-organized with ICE – Italian Trade Agency and the Centro per il Libro e la Lettura, will be attended, among others, by Sandro Ferri (E/O), Karina Hocine (Gallimard), Paolo Grossi (Nuovi Libri Italiani), Ricky Cavallero (Sem), Massimo Turchetta (Rizzoli), Ricardo Franco Levi (AIE), Vincent Montagne (SNE), Olivier Nora (Grasset), Anne-Marie Métailié (Editions Métailié), in addition to Fabio Gambaro, Director of the Italissimo Festival, Diego Marani, Director of the Italian Cultural Institute and Anna Maria Pattelli (ICE Paris).
