The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Ettore Francesco Sequi, is in Ankara today for a consultation session with the Turkish Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sedat Önal. The session focused on the most recent developments in the Ukrainian crisis and on regional issues. During his mission to Turkey, Ambassador Sequi also met with the Spokesperson and Chief Advisor to the President of Turkey, Ambassador Ibrahim Kalin, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs, Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı with whom the main bilateral dossiers and the relationship between Turkey and the EU were discussed.
