The Italian Embassy and the Italian Cultural Institute in Santiago have recently started the programme “Italia Energia Creativa” (“Italy, Creative Energy”), which tables a number of thoughts and multidisciplinary actions related to science, technology, energy and sustainability, art and culture through exhibitions, conferences and contests.

The key moment of the project, set up with the support of Enel Chile, will be the exhibition “Italy: the art of science”, promoted by the ‘City of Science’ museum in Naples and to be hosted, starting on 10 May, at the Pinacoteca de Concepción art gallery, which aims to foster dialogue between Italian and Chilean experts on sustainable transformation. The “Italia Energia Creativa” event will also feature an exhibition by Marco Angelini, “Art and energy. The quest for salvation as a commitment”, an artistic path based on photovoltaic panel recycling, several conferences and the photographic contest “Energy, creativity and sustainable mobility”. Finally, a research scholarship worth 8,000 Euros will be awarded to a young student who will conduct research in collaboration with an Italian university in the sector of renewable energy.
