From 7 to 9 April, on the occasion of the digitization of Pietro Metastasio’s epistolary, the Italian Cultural Institute in Vienna is organizing an international study conference accompanied by an exhibition of letters by the Italian poet, librettist, playwright, and presbyter, and a concert by mezzo-soprano Teresa Iervolino. The event was realized in collaboration with META (Metastasio’s Epistolary Text Archive), Österreichische Nationalbibliothek, and Don Juan Archiv Wien, with the support of the Universities of Genoa and Naples.
