The Italian Embassy in Georgia and the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) make public that the traditional annual event to promote Italian design and architecture will be held in Tbilisi on 30-31 May 2022. The event’s rich programme makes it possible to enjoy an immersive experience in Italian beauty, involving the scientific, academic and business communities.
In particular, the Italian Ambassador in Georgia, Enrico Valvo, and the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Irakli Karseladze, will launch three exhibitions open to visitors to the Museum of Modern Art Zurab Tsereteli in Tbilisi until 3 June 2022.
The event’s programme includes, among others, the exhibition of projects by young Georgian designers awarded by the Italian Embassy and the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) as part of the creativity contest called “When Italian Design Meets Georgian Creativity”. The IED will grant the winner a full ride scholarship to study in one of its facilities in Italy, plus an online Smart Creativity course for the runner-up, while the Embassy will award a surprise present to the winner of the “Jury Prize”.
