Com.It.Es. Ireland (Committee of Italians Residing Abroad), in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Dublin, will commemorate the leading figures of the fight against the Mafia, judges Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino, thirty years after their assassination, with the film “La mafia uccide solo d’estate” (2013), in Italian with English subtitles, to be screened on 23 June.
The event, to be staged free of charge at Trinity College Dublin (Arts Building), will be attended by Salvatore Borsellino, film director and author Pierfrancesco Diliberto (stage name “Pif”) and Senator Laura Garavini. A short debate will take place before the film is screened.
