Zagreb: 2 June celebrations dedicated to art and design

Zagabria, 2 giugno all’insegna di arte e design

The Italian Embassy in Zagreb celebrated the 76th anniversary of the Italian Republic in the courtyard of the residence with a rich program of events to symbolize the plurality of relations between Italy and Croatia: diplomatic, economic, cultural, and of friendship.
The reception also offered the opportunity to present some of Italy’s points of strength: art and design. The agenda of events included the preview in Croatia of the Alfa Romeo Tonale, the Italian car manufacturer’s new crown jewel and gamechanger. The Embassy’s courtyard also exhibited several tri-colored Vespas. The two initiatives are the follow-up of the exhibition on Italian automobile design entitled “La Grande Bellezza” (“The Great Beauty”), which will be hosted at the Nikola Tesla Technology Museum until the 12th of June. The evening reception included the performance of the Italian Community’s “Ad Libitum” women’s choir. The event unfolded against the backdrop of tri-colored light installations by visual designer Emmanuele Panzarini.
