The Italian Cultural Institute of Lyon has set up the exhibition “From Rebibbia to Kobane”, dedicated to Roman cartoonist Zerocalcare, which showcases forty plates, curated by Ralph Doumit.
The exhibition presents the stories the author has dedicated to his life in Rome, in the Rebibbia neighbourhood, and to his commitment in favour of the Kurdish community. It will be staged at the Institute until 31 August 2022.
In another hall, the Lyon-based Institute is hosting two more works by the cartoonist, the covers of “Macerie Prime” (Raw Rubble) and “La Profezia dell’Armadillo” (The Armadillo’s Prophecy), part of another collective exhibition organised alongside the Goethe-Institut in Lyon.
