The MAECI’s “BeIT” nation branding campaign was presented in Ankara by the Italian Ambassador to Turkey, Giorgio Marrapodi, last 8 September. The campaign – whose slogan is “Italy is Simply Extraordinary: BeIT” – was designed in partnership with ICE, the Italian Trade Agency to promote foreign trade and Italy’s exports.
In his presentation, Ambassador Marrapodi thanked Italy’s numerous attending sponsors and friends and celebrated the excellent state of bilateral economic relations between the two Countries. The event, hosted at the Turkish capital’s iconic “Atakule” shopping mall, was attended by numerous representatives of Turkish institutions and of the world of politics, culture, business, art, entertainment, and the media. The setting for the event included a photography exhibition by artist Sissa Micheli.
