Palazzo Borromeo, the seat of the Embassy of Italy to the Holy See, was the venue that hosted the event titled “USQUE AD SIDERA! Space Diplomacy in the Geopolitical Scenario”, co-organised with the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart. Present at the event were Ambassador Francesco Di Nitto, the Rector of the Catholic University, Franco Anelli, and the Director of the Office for Space and Aerospace Policies at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Elena Grifoni Winters.
At the event, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation was awarded a recognition conferred to the enterprises and institutions which supported the International Program and Master in Cultural Diplomacy, now at its fifth edition. The event, at which the students of the Master’s course received their diplomas, was attended by the Principal Director for Integrated Promotion and Innovation, Minister Cecilia Piccioni and the Principal Director for the Promotion of the Italian Culture and Language, Minister Alessandro De Pedys.
Ambassador Di Nitto then conferred the honour of Officer of the Order of the Star of Italy to Professor Federica Olivares, Director of the Master’s Course in Cultural Diplomacy, for her cooperation in this context and the merits achieved “in the promotion of international dialogue based on Cultural Diplomacy, distinguishing herself for her attentive approach to geopolitics and to interreligious relations and value systems.”
