As part of the project “In scena a Palazzo”, on 9 December the Italian Cultural Institute of Madrid will present the concert Prendimi così by Valeria Vaglio, a well-known singer-songwriter from Apulia, Roman by adoption, who participated in the “Nuove proposte” at the 2008 Sanremo Festival with the song Ore ed ore.
On the stage, set up in the premises of the Cultural Institute, the acoustic and intimate sounds of the piano and those of electronic pop will alternate, together with travel stories accompanied by the most significant pictures collected by the author over the last few years.
Pianist and guitarist Valeria Vaglio is known for the albums Stato innaturale (2008), Uscita di insicurezza (2010), Il mio vizio migliore (2017) and Mia (2019). In 2013 she composed the soundtrack for the short film Guardate il sole in faccia and the feature film Wax, both by director Lorenzo Corvino. In March 2014, his third album ‘Il mio vizio migliore’ was released. In 2017 she started work on his new album “Mia”, which was released in March 2019.
The concert will be broadcast on the YouTube channel and the Facebook page of the Cultural Institute in Madrid.
