To celebrate World Book and Copyright Day, the Italian Cultural Institute of Madrid is reopening its Library.
Completely renovated, with new services and set-ups for reading and experiencing Italian culture, the Institute’s Library will welcome readers as of 21 April by opening the doors of its reading room, with free access to the Wi-Fi network; there, it will be possible to read, study and consult numerous volumes on art, architecture and literature, as well as the latest publications made available to lovers of Italian culture.
For all those who will attend the inauguration on 21 April between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m., registration to use the Library’s services will be free of charge. The opening ceremony will include a performance for children and young people entitled “Rodar y Rodari — Storie che gli adulti non comprendono” (Stories that adults don’t understand), narrated by Simone Negrin, followed by a reading of texts by Italo Calvino with actress Claudia Ferranti.
