A delegation of small and medium-sized Italian enterprises visited Manama from 4 to 5 July as part of a mission organised by the Italian Export Credit Agency (SACE) in collaboration with the Bahraini company Bapco Energies and with the support of the Italian Embassy in Bahrain and the Italian Trade Agency Desk in Manama.
The objective of the mission, which was part of the Push Strategy signed by SACE with Bapco Energies in November 2022, was the creation of business matching opportunities between Italian and Bahraini enterprises in the energy sector. During the mission, Italian enterprises had the opportunity to meet with important Bahraini companies in order to build trade relations, create new business opportunities, and develop Made in Italy exports.
The Italian Ambassador to Bahrain, Paola Amadei, spoke at the opening of the two intense days that gave Italian enterprises access to one-to-one sessions with local counterparts to get to know each other, forge business relations and deepen their knowledge of the local market. In her speech, she recalled the successful bilateral exchanges, the excellence of Italian industry, and the many opportunities for collaboration between Italian and Bahraini enterprises in the sector, also with a view to promoting energy efficiency and creating a more sustainable future.
