RIAD – Italian wins prize for translation of Plato from arabic

One of the winners of the “’King Abdullah International Prize for Translation 2013” is an Italian. Cecilia Martini, from the University of Padua, won the award in the humanities sector with her translation from Arabic into Italian of the mediaeval text “L’armonia delle opinioni dei due sapienti: il divino Platone e Aristotele”, written in the first millennium by Abu Nasr Muhammad al-Farabi.
