The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation awards scholarships to foreign students enrolled with the so-called “Special Projects”.
A foreign student interested in a Special Project scholarship, or in renewing one of them, does not have to apply for the scholarships offered to foreign students and to Italian citizens residing abroad (IRE) of their Country Grants for foreign and Italian citizens living abroad awarded by the Italian government – Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale, but should consider to apply instead for the specific Call of the Special Project he/she is interested in. Information is also available on the websites of the Italian Embassies, Consulates and/or Italian Cultural Institutes of the Countries listed below.
For the academic year 2024-2025 the Special Projects, defined between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and some academic institutions, with ad hoc Agreements and/or specific applicable legislation, are the following:
