Within the OSCE

Like all the International Organisations, the OSCE offers nationals of participating States the possibility of employment in its permanent structures (institutions and field missions).

Such employment opportunities may take the form of contracted positions paid for from the ordinary budget of the Organisation, or seconded positions paid for by both the OSCE and the Italian State.

Notices of contracted positions are published on the OSCE’s website under “Employment” (http://www.osce.org/employment/)
Those wishing to apply for an OSCE position will have to follow two different procedures, depending on whether the position is “contracted” or “seconded”.

CONTRACTED POSITIONS

In these cases, applications must be submitted directly to the OSCE in accordance with the procedures described on the Organisation’s official website: (https://jobs.osce.org/)
Applicants who submit their candidacy for these positions are strongly encouraged to notify the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, preferably via email, at the address below:

Office III (Council of Europe, OSCE, democratic systems) – Candidatures
Tel: +39 06 3691 2272/4368

The Ministry will review such notifications and assess the possibility of extending official Italian support to the submitted candidatures, potentially providing specific instructions in this regard to the Permanent Mission of Italy to the OSCE.

SECONDED POSITIONS
For these positions, please refer to the relevant section of this website.
