The Italian Academy of Cuisine opened a delegation in Hong Kong on 30 March 2012.
Hong Kong, a city with over 7 million inhabitants, has over 11,000 restaurants. Of these, over 70 are good or excellent authentic Italian restaurants (i.e., run by an Italian chef or owner). At least 150, however, are defined “Italian” without deserving the name.
The opening of this new branch of the Academy will help preserve and promote our country’s immense and unique food and wine heritage. Read more, in Italian.
