An historic map has been published in Italian on the presence of Italians in the city of Shanghai “Gli Italiani a Sciangai, 1608-1949”, offering Italians working in Shanghai documentation of an historic memory in addition to making a contribution to the reconstruction of the history of the city itself. The map is to be published in Chinese as well, and later to be included in a publication in both Italian and Chinese that will go on to document the presence of Italians in Shanghai from 1949 to the present day.
