The announcement that maestro Alberto Veronesi had been nominated Permanent Guest at the Shanghai Opera House was given in a press release by the Italian Embassy in China. Veronesi is currently the artistic and musical director of the Grand Theatre of Tianjin, a metropolis of 10 million in northeastern China, near Beijing. Read more, in Italian.
