Alexandria: italian language week is under way

In Egypt, the 12th Week of Italian Language and Culture in the World was opened with a ceremony at the Italian Consulate in Alexandria. The events and activities in the programme including a photography exhibition, the presesentation of a book on Italy’s contribution to the Alexandria’s urban development, the opening of an Italian section in the Museum of Antiquities in the Library of Alexandria and a conference on Giuseppe Ungaretti, his birthplace Alexandria, and the painter Mohamed Naghi, also from the city.
