During a conference on Elsa Morante organised by the Italian studies department of the University of Warsaw, the Italian Cultural Institute and the Centro Studi Famiglia Capponi of Florence, Italian actress Licia Maglietta gave an enchanting performance of a chapter of the novel “L’isola di Arturo” for which the author received the Strega Award in 1957.
