Transatlantic Trade Investment Partnership
The Deputy Minister underscored the importance, in Italy’s view, that the Transatlantic Trade Investment Partnership (TTIP) between the United States and the European Union could have in the context of further strengthening the strategic bond that unites the two shores of the Atlantic, and that cannot be limited to the sole dimension of security.
“It is our hope that negotiations on the TTIP will be launched as soon as possible and be reasonably brief”, Dassù observed, “in as much as it potentially offers a unique opportunity for economic growth and employment at transatlantic level with highly positive consequences for our country”.
