Argentina: Bennato, Battiato, Ughi, a month of Italian culture

As summer goes into full swing in South America, Argentina hosts “Italian Summer”, a month of cultural events in Buenos Aires, from 2 June to 5 July. Organised by the Embassy, Consulate and the Italian Cultural Institute, the calendar includes appearances by, among others, Uto Ughi, the musicians of La Scala, Franco Battiato and Eugenio Bennato. The approximately 40 events will feature music (opera, classical and popular), cinema and photography, with a retrospective on Pier Paolo Pasolini, theatre, art and Italian cuisine.
