MADE IN ITALY: Continuity and a change of pace, urges Pistelli. Rome can do great things in the EU, Middle East and Asia.

The Italian “system” can succeed, but we need “a change of pace and continuity in our commercial foreign policy in the international markets and, above all, in China. There’s a great demand worldwide for the ‘Made in Italy’ brand, a demand that exceeds our capacity to respond. Italy can offer much more than the Four ‘Fs’ of food, Ferrari, fashion and family. We need only think, for example, of the renewable energy sector”. The comment was made by the Deputy Foreign Minister, Lapo Pistelli, at the event held today, 10 July 2013, to present the new issue of “East”, the two-monthly “European Crossroads” magazine.
