Entering the diplomatic service is the dream of many young people with an interest in international relations. And the competitive entrance exam is the only access route. The seventh instalment of “Diplomazia e dintorni”, to be aired on Tuesday 19 November 2013, will examine what is viewed as one of the most difficult and demanding exams of the Italian public administration.
Who can enter for the exam, how do you prepare for it, and who’s passed it?
These and many other questions will be answered in the programme conducted by Stefano Baldi, who will have two diplomat guests, Fabrizio Lobasso and Cristina Caputo, for this evening’s instalment. They will provide useful information and advice for anyone interested in entering the diplomatic service.
You can listen again to the previous instalments of “Diplomazia e Dintorni” on the http://www.stefanobaldi.org/radio website. And to send in your questions to the programme, write to diplomaziaedintorni@gmail.com
“Diplomazia e Dintorni” on web radio
“Diplomazia e Dintorni” is a radio programme broadcast on http://www.radioluiss.it from 21.00 to 22.00 on Tuesdays to provide listeners with information on diplomats and international policy work. Conceived and presented by Stefano Baldi, himself a diplomat, the programme includes guest speakers, interviews, and discussions of books and other sources on the work of diplomats and officials in international organisations.
Diplomacy is often linked to culture, and good music is an essential part of “Diplomazia e Dintorni”. The choice of musical tracks is based on a different theme each week, but they all have a common strand: jazz, in all its multiple expressions.
