Italy-Peru – Biodiversity research celebrated in Micromundos exhibition in Lima

Scientific cooperation between Italy and Peru on researching and protecting biodiversity in the Amazon region is celebrated in an exhibition entitled “Micromundos”. The event was organised by the Italian Cultural Institute in Lima in collaboration with the Peruvian Ministry of culture. Featuring the work of Italian naturalist and photographer Emanuele Biggi,the exhibitionwas opened by the Chargé d’Affaires at the Italian Embassy in Lima, Ivo Michele Polacco. The project is particularly significant in the run-up to the COP 20 international conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate change, which will take place in Lima in December 2014.
