Melbourne – A stroll through history: open doors at the Italian Cultural Institute

The Italian Cultural Institute in Melbourne has been included for the first time in the city’s list of buildings with a significant historic or architectural interest. On 26 and 27 July, to coincide with Open House Melbourne, the Institute’s premises – the 19th-century Elm Tree House in the South Yarra neighbourhood – will be open to the public. Visitors will also be able to view the exhibition on “Australia and Italy: Italy through Australian eyes”, hosted at the Institute until 30 August 2014.

For the Institute’s Open Doors Day, “taster” Italian lessons will be organised. Read more, in Italian
