The Italian Ambassador in Cameroon, Samuela Isopi, recently visited the National Advanced School of Public Works (NASPW) in Yaoundé. The School is engaged in a joint training programme with the University of Padua’s Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering. Since 2010, the NASPW and the University have jointly provided training for 580 young Cameroonians, while 20 young students will be travelling to Italy for work and research experience in September 2014. In 2015 the first 85 Cameroonians will be graduating from the new degree course under the programme.
